A group of pupils enjoyed a super day out at Wimbledon. They travelled by train and saw some amazing tennis on Court 1, to include the Venus Williams match. A brilliant day was had by all and the children were incredibly well behaved.
This week Class 3 performed their annual assembly to showcase their learning from the year. The children had a fantastic time exploring on the field, becoming insect detectives on the hunt for creatures! Equipped with a check list, we all looked very carefully to find as many insects and minibeasts as possible. We found ladybirds, dragonflies and many more. A fun and sunny afternoon for our little explorers!
Pupils and Staff performed the musical Beauty and the Beast at the Langstone Cliff Hotel this week. It was a brilliant show, with Year 6 students taking the lead. Well done to all who supported this event and for making the evening so amazing!

On Friday, children in Class 1 were able to go to Powderham Castle to watch a special performance by the Meridies Piano Trio. We were invited to the prestigious James Wyatt music room to listen to an hour long performance covering pieces by Debussy and Haydn, and even a world exclusive composition!
