Celebrating Fair Trade Fortnight
On Wednesday 4th of March six children from Cockwood School Council represented the School with their attendance at the annual Fair Trade Conference held at Westcliff Primary School. Cockwood School has developed links with a rural school in New South Wales in Australia.
Links with a school in Germany
Cockwood have made links with Oxford School in Munster, North Germany.
Class 2 send their own leaflets to schools in Australia and Germany
Class 2 have been learning to write persuasively in Literacy this term. They did lots of research into what makes a good leaflet; before making their own leaflets to persuade people to come to Cockwood or visit Wembworthy!
