The children in Class 3 had a fantastic time on their trip to Dawlish Warren last week.
They had a busy day, starting with a super workshop with Steven, a ranger from the Nature Reserve, and ending with some free time on the beach and an ice cream!
Steven showed the children around the Nature Reserve, and let them have a go at pond dipping, meadow sweeping and hunting for minibeasts, helping them to identify all the insects and minibeasts they found. After a picnic lunch in the sunshine, the children enjoyed some fun on the sand before a lovely cooling ice cream.
The children had a super day, and we would like to thank the parent helpers that joined us.
Have a look at our photos from our day!
