Class 2 Solar Farm Visit

Church Nature Walk
The whole school enjoyed a trip to St Mary’s Churchyard to take part in the nationwide nature survey for “God’s Acre”. Sports Day
The school enjoyed a wonderful sports day afternoon in the sun. The children loved the competitive races and supported their teams. Well done to Powderham House who secured the trophy this year.
London Residential
The children had an amazing week in London last week on their residential. Firstly they visited Stonehenge en route and then explored the Cutty Sark, Parliament, Madame Tussauds, Tower Bridge and the Royal Albert Hall.

Racing for children and families
The Cockwood School Running Club welcomed Memory Maker Man to their session this week. Exploring Cliff’s garden
Children in Class 3 have enjoyed learning about things that grow when they visited Cliff’s garden (governor). Cliff is our resident expert and the children had a super time exploring the garden in order to enhance their science topic.
Really Wild!
Children in Class 3 spent a super afternoon learning about creatures and their habitats with the Really Wild Man from Shaldon Zoo. It was a wonderful learning experience for the children. Take a look at the amazing photos.
National maths competition
Well done to our maths team who spent a day competing against other schools in a UK Maths Challenge at The Maynard School. A super 4th place was achieved and the children had a brilliant time.
