Year 4 pupils from Cockwood and Kenton have taken part in a number of Drama Workshops at Dawlish Community College culminating in a performance for parents/carers last Friday.
The children learnt how to express themselves in various situations, from becoming bullies or being bullied, to looking bored, then playful and happy. They also learnt how to conduct themselves in a professional manner on stage and backstage.
Finally they also had the opportunity of putting their own short play together in smaller groups, using their own ideas. They came up with some fabulous storylines and considering the short amount of time they had to practise, they put on a really special performance for their audience using the skills they’ve acquired over the past few weeks brilliantly.
