We were delighted to come together as a school community for Sport’s Day back on the Village Green at Cockwood. Last week we were delighted to welcome in a wide range of visitors to talk to all of our pupils about their chosen career, we had a GP, a Coastguard, an NHS Consultant, an Entertainer, a Police Dog Handler and a 999 Call Responder all give up their precious time to support our young learners….
Yesterday we sent a team of Year 4 pupils to the local Dartmoor 3 Ball tournament held at the astroturf in Dawlish. The team showed great sportmanship, teamwork and resilience. They came 5th overall – well done.
Last week the Choir were invited to perform for Hope Friends; a lovely group of people who meet at the Church weekly. The children performed a range of songs for 30 minutes, and then had the chance to talk to members of the audience. They were given cake and squash, and had a fantastic time…
