Paralympian Dan James visits Cockwood

Great Britain’s Paralympic goalkeeper Dan James visited Cockwood School last week and led the children through a circuit of exercise, teaching them the importance of fitness and persevering to achieve goals. A great afternoon and a fantastic way to exercise! It was amazing to learn about Dan’s achievements at the Paralympics – a real inspiration.

Sports Day

Hindu Workshop

Ravi Nathwani kindly came and shared some lovely Hindu artefacts with  Class 2 this week. He told us some stories about Hindu gods and shared Hindu customs and traditions with us. The workshop helped us to reflect upon and consolidate our learning about Hinduism.
