Class 2 Exploring Cloth, Paint & Thread

Class 2 are really enjoying exploring how artists use fabric, paint and thread to demonstrate texture in landscapes. They have been using acrylic paint, in a fluid and intuitive way, to show the dramatic landscapes of Dartmoor. Music in the Castle

Pupils from Class 2 enjoyed a visit to Powderham Castle last week to watch the Yugen Saxophone Quartet. The musicians were from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and they delighted the children with a wide range of pieces from a range of genres.
