The pupils and adults had an amazing day when they travelled to see the tanks and trenches at Bovington Tank Museum. To enhance the topic of WWI, the children explored a British and German trench and learned about life as a soldier. They were also lucky enough to climb in one of the only tanks…
The pupils enjoyed a super session at La Tasca. The children tasted food, watched a cookery lesson and practised some Spanish. Some pupils also had the opportunity to dress up in traditional Spanish clothing.
Class 1 visited the Exeter synagogue. Mr. Boam kindly showed us round. We saw many important features including The Ark containing the Torah scrolls, the Ner Tamid (everlasting light) and the bimah (Platform where the scrolls are read).
