This term’s Gold Award achievers for the Spring Term. These children have shown significant achievement in all areas of the curriculum.

These children were given a token for showing different qualities that would be present in a good friend.

Cockwood came in second place at the Community Swimming gala.  A large group of parents were among the supporters cheering their team on.

Year 6 children spent the day with learning road safety and how to cycle sensibly.  They cam back tired and keen to help the environment and cycle to school.

Congratulations to this term’s gold award winners, who have shown a significant improvement over the term.

The Cockwood swimming team did exceptionally well in the Swimming Gala at Dawlish Leisure Centre.

  On the 11th June year 5 and 6 reperesented Cockwood in a 3 ball competition. 

On 13th March 2008, we achieved the Devon Healthy Schools Award which is part of the National Healthy Schools Programme. The programme supports the links between health, behaviour and achievement; it is about creating healthy and happy children and young people, who do better in learning and in life.

All of the above children played exceptionally well in the football league at Dawlish Community College on Monday 17th March.
