May 7, 2015headteacher

Well done to Class 2. Staff, parents and pupils were entertained with songs, readings and videos demonstrating the Class 2 learning for this term. We all loved seeing the video of the pupils in testudo formation! A super assembly!

Well done to Cofton House for winning the interhouse challenge for this term. November 10, 2014headteacher

We have been focussing on poetry over the last year and wanted to give the children an opportunity to share their wonderful ideas with visitors to the school. Our new tree stands at the entrance to the school and was commissioned by Suzanne Green, an artist from Northamptonshire. The tree will change as the seasons…

A huge thank you to local businesses

November 10, 2014headteacher

After the storms and renovation of the railway at Dawlish, a number of businesses were kind enough to support local charities and Cockwood Primary School PFA was one such charity. The children were lucky enough to meet some of the representatives from Bamm and Ist solutions on Friday, when they came to a special assembly…

Well done to everyone who took part in the Great West Run on Sunday. The children, resplendent in their orange t-shirts  ran the final stage of the half marathon, after banking over 12 miles during their running club sessions at school. We have been hoping to raise funds for children’s hospice south west and the…
