Awards were given at the end of the Autumn term to the child in each class who has read the most amount of words. It was very close between a number of children but we had three clear winners.
Staff and pupils were delighted to share a special assembly at the end of Autumn term to award those children who have put in exceptional effort. The awards were for either Reading, Writing or Maths and three children were chosen from each class.

In Foundation we have been celebrating all the fantastic independent writing going on around the class. We have created a ‘Writing Club’ that anyone can take part in everyday, where there are many different things to write about! You can make cards, recipes, stories or even letters to Santa!
This half term the children in Class 3 are working on their hockey skills! We have been busy learning how to control the ball; including pushing the ball, stopping it and moving it around the cones carefully using our sticks.
