Supporting Cofton in Bloom

Pupils in Year 6 helped local residents Nigel and Sally Stoneman to decorate the village recently with new flowers. The children chose the flowers and then planted them on the bridge near the village green. They will now water them for the remainder of the term and hope that all local residents will enjoy them.

FizzPop Science Assembly

The children were excited and amazed by the hands-on experiments of ‘Tectonic Tim’ from FizzPop Science today. He produced giant bubbles and soapsuds towers, before setting fire to the soapsuds; someone had to be very sensible and brave! He finally produced ‘elephant toothpaste’ to the wonder of the children, and explained the science behind it.
