Class 2 have been finding out about the symbols and values behind the Olympics. They have been looking at the meaning behind the Olympic rings and how using strong graphic images can tell a stroy or represent something. Both class 1 and class 2 have the opportunity to work alongside a professional artist from DAISI to create a banner which will displayed in Exeter Cathedral during May when the Olympic torch visits the city.Class 2 have spent a day at Starcross School working in collaboration with Starcross children and they experimented with marbling and silhouettes.
