This term Classes 1 and 2 are having lessons in how to play brass instruments. This is part of the Government funding for Wider Opportunities for music provision in schools.
This scheme aims to encourage children to take up lessons or join clubs and ensembles outside of the classroom music lessons after experiencing an instrument.
We are very lucky to have the expertise of Mr. Ian Moore from Exminster School who has led some of our lessons and introduced the sound of the baritone, trumpet and cornet.
We are hoping some of our children will be encouraged to take lessons next term.
