The children raised £220 at their coffee morning and bring and buy sale. The year 5 and 6 children organised this on their own to raise funds for Shelter Box. The school council also took a vote, without any adult involvement, and have also dontated their £170 for cake sales over the past year, together with a further 20 raised last week and the money from the non school uniform day. The total is approximately £490. We were aiming to raise £490 over the next year, so the fact that the children have raised it over the last term is utterly fantastic. Thank you Cockwood School this really shows how when you put your mind to something, anything is possible.
