Our Year 3 pupils have embarked on their Forest School journey with great enthusiasm. Their first session at Methley Meadow was a resounding success, filled with adventure and hands-on learning. The children immersed themselves in nature, foraging for wild garlic in the great outdoors. This experience culminated in a delightful culinary activity where they crafted their very own garlic butter. The highlight of the afternoon was undoubtedly the moment they savoured their homemade cheesy garlic bread, a testament to their newfound skills and creativity. It’s wonderful to see our pupils engaging so positively with nature and practical learning.
