Dawlish learning community took part in the KS1 Aesthetics Festival where over 160 children from various schools came to take part in a variety of gymnastics, dance and yoga stations. Gatehouse, Westcliff, Orchard Manor, Exminster, Kenn, Kenton and Cockwood all attended the festival bringing a number of pupils to experience and practice lots of gymnastics, dance and yoga skills. The children took part in a variety of stations: vaulting, rolling, travelling, balancing, frog yoga, banana split (balancing game) and superhero dancing. The pupils showed amazing enthusiasm and resilience throughout the festival and got stuck right in to every station. The children also worked well with other schools creating lots of new social experiences for them too. Well done to Year 2 for your enthusiasm and exemplary behaviour.
