Staff and children thoroughly enjoyed celebrating reading on World Book Day.
Each class spent the day completing a range of reading related activities. During the morning we gathered into our House Teams and shared a range of books with each other. All the children loved reading with someone from a different class.
In our whole school assembly staff read an extract from their favourite children’s book these included ‘Daisy Dawson’ and ‘Green Peas and Ham’ by Doctor Seuss.
Everyone was invited to dress up or bring a ‘hint of a book’, as usual, costumes were amazing and we all enjoyed working out who everyone was.
