We are thrilled to share an incredible experience our pupils recently enjoyed. Our Class 1 pupils were fortunate enough to attend the Women’s Rugby World Cup Quarter Final at Sandy Park in Exeter, witnessing an extraordinary match between New Zealand and South Africa. The game was a spectacular display of skill and determination. The Black Ferns delivered an outstanding performance, overcoming South Africa’s fierce first-half challenge. In a remarkable turn of events, they scored four tries in just fifteen minutes of the second half, ultimately securing a 46-17 victory.
This was a fabulous opportunity for our pupils to experience high-quality women’s sports right on our doorstep. Watching professional athletes compete at such a high level provides an inspiring and memorable experience for our young learners. We are incredibly grateful to our dedicated staff who generously gave up their Saturday to accompany the children. Their commitment ensures our pupils can access these extraordinary experiences that we hope they will cherish for many years to come.
Moments like these extend learning beyond our classroom walls, offering real-world inspiration and excitement for our pupils.
