Throughout our topic learning this year, the children in Class 3 have been learning about seasonal changes and the weather. We have had a fantastic time being rain collectors, making weather dials and most recently becoming weather reporters!
To prepare for our performances, we looked at weather reports from the news and discussed what the different symbols mean, whilst improving our knowledge of compass directions and parts of the UK. From this, we were able to create our own weather reports using weather words and directional language.
The children loved the opportunity to be weather reporters and share what they know. Have a look at our pictures to see the children in the spotlight.
