Alan Smith from the ICE team came to help us understand a bit more about the festival of Easter and why it is important to Christians.
He came and worked with Class 1 and then Class 2.
We made palm trees and drew our favourite meals to help us reflect on the events of Holy week leading to the crucifixion of Jesus.
Finally he used a toy bunny, some chocolate sauce and a bucket of water to help us understand how Christians see Easter as a time for washing away bad things and seeking forgiveness from God.
