The wonderful Cockwood School Choir have been busy lately, preparing for the Teacher Rock Youth Choir Concert at Exeter Cathedral.
The children attended the special evening alongside 8 other choirs from both secondary and primary schools and the super Teacher Rock Choir. The children performed ‘Fix You’ by Coldplay, ‘Higher Love’ by Whitney Houston, and two original songs written by the event organisers, ‘New Born King’ and ‘Strength to Believe’ alongside the other choirs. The children had an amazing time wearing their special t-shirts for the occasion, and loved seeing the Cathedral all ready for Christmas!
It was a fabulous evening and a wonderful opportunity for the children to sing in such a special venue. A huge well done to our lovely Choir for singing so beautifully and representing the school so well.
