Taste Testing in Class 3

July 15, 2021Admin

Taste Testing in Class 3!

Class 3 had a super time ‘taste testing’ lots of differ

ent foods earlier this term. Throughout the last few weeks, the children have tried a variety of salad items, including dressings, leaves and items such as coleslaw and potato salad, as well as trying a variety of fish, including cod, hake, trout, sea bass and tuna. We talked about why these foods are healthy for us, and how foods like fish are especially good due to the healthy fats and minerals they provide.

It was fascinating to do this with the children, and wonderful to see them realise just how many new foods they like. The different types of fish in particular were a real hit, with most children liking every type! Brilliant!

We are very proud of the children for broadening their repertoire of foods, and for giving every food a go.

Here are some pictures to enjoy!
