Dawlish Learning Partnership schools visited the new Sainsbury’s store in Dawlish today to show their support for this years Poppy appeal.
Staff and children from Cockwood Primary School, Gatehouse Primary School and Oaklands Park School were warmly welcomed by Members of the Royal British Legion.
They talked about the work that the Royal British Legion does to provide practical care, advice and support to serving members of the Armed Forces, veterans of all ages and their families.
Nicky Culverwell from Sainsbury’s explained that on Sunday 11th November there would also be a minutes silence in store.
