All of the children have taken part in Skipping Workshops with Ian Patchett from South Dartmoor Schools Sports Partnership.
The children worked really hard, and thoroughly enjoyed the day, joining in with enthusiasm and an eagerness to improve. It was lovely to receive a feedback email from Ian, who said,
‘staff and students were really welcoming on Thursday; I loved being able to work with such a responsive group of pupils. Your Year 3/4 and 5/6 students made some huge strides with their skipping technique and capability which was great to witness. Even some of your foundation stage students started to grasp the basics.Thank you for organising the day.’
We will be developing these skills through personal skipping challenges in the Summer term.
