Class 1 were lucky to have a visitor from the Exeter Synagogue this week.
His name was Tony Newman and he told us about some Jewish beliefs, rituals and festivals as well as sharing some photographs and artefacts.
It was helpful to have a practising Jew to talk to us and answer our questions on the Jewish faith as well as demonstrating what we have learned in lessons..
We also welcomed our visitors from the ICE team (Initiative in Christian Education) this week.
They demonstrated and explained the main events of the period of Lent with some great resources.
This provided us with a good introduction to the celebration of Easter coming soon.
These visitors enrich our learning and understanding about the different beliefs and cultures in our communities and we always look forward to their visits.
