This term in Class 3, the children have been able to have a go at playing the ukulele.
We have talked about all the different parts of a ukulele, and as a class we have learnt the song ‘Puff the Magic Dragon.’ The children have really enjoyed being able to play these instruments, with some making their own ‘bands’ and creating their own songs!
So far the children have learnt how to hold a ukulele, how to strum correctly, and some children have learnt 3 chords.
It has been super to let the children experiment with a new instrument, and the children have thoroughly enjoyed it.
