Everyone at Cockwood are delighted with the new playground facilities, made possible by a grant from Sport England Primary Spaces.
The children have a new climbing wall (which is never without a child traversing it, and challenging themselves!), a multi-sports play area with specialist surfacing and goals that mean playtimes are more active, and clubs can be run on site. One of the children in Class was overheard saying, ‘It was always awesome, but now it’s gone up three notches’!
The children are also keen to look after their new playground and keep it tidy and clean, so well done everyone!
