This week the Cockwood choir had the opportunity to attend Powderham Castle’s ‘Music in the Castle’ performance from Apollo 5.
The children enjoyed an afternoon masterclass from the popular acapella group, who have performed across the globe! The children learnt 2 new songs which were sung in a round, as well as new singing techniques, all in the beautiful music room. Apollo 5 performed two of their songs using complex harmonies and beats, wowing us with their talent!
The children had a brilliant afternoon and came away full of music and excitement. Thank you to Powderham Castle for hosting this event, and to Mrs Wilkin for joining the choir for the afternoon.
