The children in Class 3 have been busy being chefs, making our very own pizza!
Throughout our Food Technology learning this term we have been learning about different ingredients, where they grow, and how to chop and use kitchen equipment safely.
We started by preparing all of our toppings by learning how to use the ‘claw’ for safe chopping. Whilst chopping, every child had someone to ‘observe’ them to make sure they were being safe and using the correct technique. Super team work!
Once we had prepared our toppings, we then made the dough and made sure our pizzas were ready for the oven. We waited for them to cook, and then took our yummy pizzas home to enjoy!
The children had a fantastic day full of Food Technology skills and fun!
