The children in Class 3 have been very busy making their own axles and wheels in preparation for their Moon Buggy making next week.
The children have been experimenting with different materials and ways of joining to make sure that they are ready for our big day of making next Thursday. We have already spent time carefully looking at existing moon rovers, finding the best qualities of them and things we would like to include in our own projects. Some children decided they wanted big wheels, whilst others preferred smaller yet thicker wheels.
We are all very excited to make our Moon Buggies next week! Thank you to all the Class 3 families for bringing in your boxes and recycling for us to use. Here are some photos of us making our super axles and wheels!
