Cockwood children have taken part in an area Athletics event run by the Dawlish Learning Partnership. Schools from across the community competed against each other in a bid to win a medal. Events included shot-putt, long jump, javelin and running races. Unfortunately the weather wasnt great but that didn’t dampen the enthusiasm or determination shown by all the children competing. This opportunity has highlighted some very keen and talented athletes and we hope to build on their skills next year. WELL DONE for trying hard and displaying super sportsmanship.
