What a wonderful project Class 2 have been working on! As part of their topic on India, the pupils have been creating moving artwork inspired by Indian culture.
The children began by exploring how animals move, which sparked their imagination and creativity. They then spent time carefully planning their designs, thinking through exactly how they wanted their artwork to look. This planning stage was really important – it gave them the chance to visualise their ideas before bringing them to life.
The pupils have shown real dedication to developing their cutting and colouring skills throughout this project. You can see the care and attention they’ve put into every detail of their finished designs. To add that extra element of movement, they’ve used split pins to create pieces that really come alive.
We are delighted to see our pupils engaging with their learning, combining creativity with practical skills. It’s projects like these that help bring topics to life and make learning truly memorable.
Do make sure you come along to Class 2’s assembly on Thursday 12th March to see their wonderful moving artwork on display. It’s a perfect opportunity to celebrate their hard work and creativity!
