Our Head Boy had the amazing privilege of going to North Devon to interview Max Woosey, ‘The Boy in the Ten’,who has raised over £700,000 for his local hospice by sleeping outside for 3 years! Nate went to Max’s home in Braunton, along with a Sky News camera crew, and conducted an interview which will be broadcast on FYI Sky News on Saturday and Sunday 29th/30th April at 10.30am and 4.30pm. The interview is being shown as part of a Coronation Special on the Sky Kids FYI news programme, which is a news programme presented entirely by kids for kids. Cockwood School were very lucky to be offered this opportunity when they applied through First News last week,we sent in a video of Nate talking to camera and he was succesfully chosen.
Max has received an invite to attend King Charles III Coronation at Westminster Abbey in recognition of his amazing fundraising efforts and he proudly showed Nate what he would be wearing on the day.
