The Fairtrade committee recently ran a very successful competition around Fairtrade Lunchboxes. Children were encouraged to bring in as many Fairtrade items in their lunchboxes as possible.
This proved to be a huge success and children brought in all sorts of fairtrade items from bananas to chocolate bars, homemade smoothies and cakes.
Everybody who took part was awarded either a bronze, silver or gold certificate depending on how many fairtrade items they brought in and also on how inventive they had been. They also got a little fairtrade chocolate treat for taking part.
Congratulations to the overall winners who received a box of Maltesers.
