Exploring and Drawing in Art

This term, our Class 2 pupils are embarking on an exciting new Art unit called ‘Explore and Draw’. The children have been introduced to the idea that artists can be collectors and explorers as they develop their drawing and composition skills.

To start the unit, the class went on a ‘nature hunt’ around the village, collecting interesting objects and materials that they would like to draw. We look forward to seeing the beautiful artwork that the children create using the treasures they discovered during their exploration.
