Class 1 have been Fashion Designers this week, they have been turning their design creations into actual outfits for their mannequins.
They explored at a range of patterned and textured paper and materials and also had a go at copying various patterns in their sketchbooks, moving onto to creating their own designs.
Everyone made a mannequin and then measured the dimensions to create their outfit. We had a wide range of styles and lots of different types of clothes. The children thought about who would wear their outfit and how would they feel in it?
It has been an interesting topic as it has inspired them to look at ‘art’ in a different way.
