On Wednesday 20th May 2015, six schools from across the Dawlish Learning Partnership took part in the annual DLP Swimming Gala, held at Dawlish Leisure Centre.
Each school took a team of 12 children from years 4, 5 and 6.
Firstly, the children had to compete in individual events, later followed by three relays. The individual races were all one length; these included breastroke, backstroke and front crawl. The races were all very close!
Kenton came in first place, with 111 points, second was Cockwood with 93 points and joint third place was Kenn and Exminster with 88 points. Well done to all of the children who took part and a big thank you to Dawlish Community College Sports Leaders for helping to run the event.
