We were delighted when over 200 family, friends, teachers and governors joined us on Thursday 11th June at The Langstone Cliff Hotel at our first ever Poetry Slam!
The evening celebrated the beautiful parts of Devon, where we live and learn, through poetry and performance and showcased the amazing talent we have within the schools across the Dawlish Learning Partnership.

The DLP Woodwind band started the evening off with a wonderful Jazz Medley.
Then students from nine schools across the partnership, performed a wide variety of published and self penned poems about our local environment.
The audience were also treated to four uplifting songs from the DLP Choir which they have been working hard on over the last year.
A wonderful evening of entertainment was had by all. We are very grateful to all the students who took part, along with their teachers for their commitment and enthusiasm.
