With Euro 2016 in full swing, children from across the Dawlish Learning Partnership took part in the annual DLP Football Tournament.
A damp start didn’t put off the players and as the sun then began to shine along did their sporting talents!
Teams of 7 children from Starcross, Kenn, Kenton, Cockwood and Westcliff Primary Schools along with Gatehouse ACE Academy took part in a pool of matches at the Sandy Lane Astro Pitch in Dawlish. Everyone played each other, before the scores were totted up, with Gatehouse claiming victory after an impressive performance from all the team.
As well as the trophy and medals being presented to the winning team, certificates were awarded to all.
Thanks to the staff and parents who made this event possible. A great time was had by all.
