Class 1 thoroughly enjoyed an ‘hour of coding’ every day last week. They took part in interactive live workshops to develop their understanding and confidence with coding. Children commented that doing it every day helped them to build on prior knowledge and really ‘get into’ the sessions. Using a familiar game such as Minecraft, engaged the children and helped them to explore and navigate the coding behind the game which then supported them in creating their own versions.
