In Class 2, we’ve been exploring the fascinating world of digital devices, understanding how they work through input, process, and output. Recently, our pupils embarked on an exciting art project recreating Van Gogh’s Starry Night – first on paper, then digitally using the Tate Paint website.
The digital experience was particularly engaging. Our pupils discovered the joy of digital tools – the ability to undo mistakes, experiment with various features, and explore creativity in new ways. However, they also appreciated the unique control and tactile experience of traditional paper-based art.
This activity sparked an interesting discussion about the role of digital devices in different tasks. We wondered: Are there jobs that might be better accomplished digitally? Perhaps writing, correspondence, music creation, or artistic expression? We’d love to hear your thoughts on this.
