As part of a whole programme of primary outreach across a number of subject areas, a group of our year 5 and 6 pupils are visiting Dawlish Community College for additional French lessons. The children will learn more about the French language and culture through games and songs with Ms Noble, one of the Modern Foreign Language teachers at the college.
The pupils will visit the college every week for six weeks and complete the course with a celebratory Crepe tasting session, which parents are invited to attend. This will be a great opportunity for the children to showcase what they have learnt throughout the course.
It is hoped that these sessions will be great fun and help pupils to develop a greater knowledge of their basic language skills and increase their confidence ready for when they move up to the college.
