Well done to the super samba band, newly formed, who gave a brilliant performance at the Dawlish Learning Patrnership Art Exhibition on Monday 16th June at The Langstone Cliff Hotel.
The children, from Classes 1 and 2, practised for just one week and were guided by Dave Salter (West Exe) and our music student Daniel Leath. Everyone enjoyed the music, which was a fitting link to the artwork produced by the whole school, entitled Swan Samba.
Each swan linked to the children’s learning but also encompassed the overall theme of Carnival. Other children took part in the choir and the orchestra and we are so proud!
