What an exciting week we’ve had in Class 3! Our pupils were treated to a truly captivating experience as we welcomed ‘Animals 2 U’ to our school. As part of their Science curriculum, where they’ve been learning to classify animals into reptiles, amphibians, mammals, and insects, the children had the opportunity to get up close and personal with some fascinating creatures.
The visitors brought along a corn snake, a tree frog, a millipede, and a ferret, much to the delight of our young learners. It was wonderful to see the children’s eyes light up as they held these animals, completely mesmerised by the experience. Their curiosity shone through as they asked thoughtful questions, demonstrating their engagement with the subject.
We’re incredibly grateful to our PFA for funding this invaluable event and to Mrs Ward for her excellent organisation. These hands-on experiences truly bring learning to life and create lasting memories for our pupils.
