What a wonderful morning we had last week celebrating Class 3’s learning! They entertained a packed Village Hall at their annual class assembly, and what a brilliant showcase it was.
The pupils have been learning all about minibeasts, inspired by their recent trip to Dartmoor Zoo, and they shared their knowledge with such enthusiasm. It was lovely to hear them read aloud their ‘Bee fact files’, share lots of amazing facts and watch them perform a charming song and dance routine together. The slideshow that followed took us on a journey through their learning this year, and what really shone through were all those smiling, happy faces – a true reflection of the joy and engagement in their classroom.
What impressed us most was the confidence every child in Class 3 showed standing up in front of the whole school and all the mummies, daddies, and family and friends who had come to support them. It’s these moments that remind us why we do what we do – seeing our pupils grow in confidence and celebrate their achievements together as a community.
