Class 3 visited St.Mary’s Church at Cofton.
We were welcomed by the Vicar Nick Hawkins.
We looked for features of the church and drew some.
We gathered round the font to take part in the celebration of a Christian Baptism. Our doll Evie Jane was being Baptised.
It was a lovely ceremony and Ollie and Chloe L were the proud parents!
After the service some of us were lucky enough to ring the bell!
Thanks once again to the welcome we received at the church from Nick and Ruth. We are lucky to have such a caring church in the heart of our community!
