We were all thoroughly entertained at the Class 3 assembly- on the hottest day of the year so far! Parents and family joined pupils in the Village Hall, whilst Class 1 and 2 joined via zoom. The children sang songs, danced to ‘Jai Ho’ and acted out the story of The Rainbow Fish. They had a very special guest, Queen Victoria, who told the audience about the seaside in Victorian times and some Year 1 children read out their version of The Rainbow Fish, where they had changed it to a different animal but with the same message.
The confidence of the children was incredible, many thoroughly enjoyed singing in the microphone and we have some budding stars in our midst! Well done Class 3 for an excellent performance.
