We are delighted to share the exciting developments in Class 2’s Geography topic this half term. Our pupils have been immersing themselves in the fascinating world of ‘Rivers’, honing their map skills to locate Cockwood on an Ordnance Survey map and identify our local rivers. It’s been wonderful to witness their enthusiasm and collaborative spirit as they support one another in their map work, generating thoughtful questions along the way.
Everyone is very excited as we look forward to next week’s field study at Bellever on Dartmoor. Our young geographers will have the opportunity to take river measurements and identify key features of the area, bringing their classroom learning to life in this hands-on experience.
